Story
Hey everyone,
As many are aware, we lost my Mum in March of 2023 after a 15-month battle with cancer. When you see someone go through cancer, the feeling of helplessness can be overwhelming. To see someone you love struggle so much with not just what cancer does to the body, but the side effects of treatment is heartbreaking. This year I will be participating in the Bridge to Brisbane to raise money for Cure Cancer Australia. Anyone that knows me well will know that running 10km may be a challenge...a big challenge! But I have seen the brutality of cancer so if I can make a small contribution to fund more research into treating, and one day, curing cancer, I will take on the challenge.
